توضع كمية كافية من الزيت بالضغط على مضخة العبوة فوق راحة الكفين وبمزجها مع الماء ليتحول الزيت إلى رغوة ناعمة الملمس،. يشطف حوض الاستحمام أو الدوش بعد استعمال الزيت لتجنب خطر الانزلاق. تجنب ملامسة المنتج للعينين، وفي حال ذلك، تشطف العينان جيداً بالماء.
